Welcome to 3D’s new investment ” Doosan DNM 650 ” purchased from Mac at the NEC this year. With our customers demanding quicker turnround 3D decided to invest in the Doosan with Heidenhain 530i control.
With travels of 1300x 670 the scope of the machine was more than enough to cope with quite large inserts.
The spindle runs upto 15000 rpm and with the machine being fully probed this enables us to run fully through out the night and all weekend.
Three months on and 3D are already planning next years machine requirements of which Doosan has a head start already .!!!!!
